Wasson Way is waking.
Trail walkers and tail waggers are watching.
As things turn green along the trail and start to bloom.
It’s time for us to get to work with clean up and gardening.
Please join us for the following gardening and landscape maintenance events:
- Saturday, March 28: 10 am-12 pm – Flower Bed Spring Clean-up. Starting at Madison Rd. flower beds near LaRosa’s Pizza
- Tuesday, March 31: 10 am-12 pm – Flower Bed Spring Clean-up. Starting at Edwards Rd flower beds, near Penn Station
- Saturday, April 4: 10 am-12 pm – Flower Bed Spring Clean-up. Starting at Paxton Rd Flower beds, near iCryo
- Tuesday, April 21: 9 am-12 pm – Thomas More Saints Serve Day – Mulching Trees 3, Starting at Eastern Hills Trail Head, Parking across the street @ Colesco
- Saturday, April 25: 10 am-12 pm – Re-planting Day, Location: Meet at Madison. We will move to other parts of the trail if we wrap up early at Madison.
- Friday, May 8: 9 am-11 am – Seed Planting Day – Location: Meet at Marburg. We will move to other parts of the trail if we wrap up early at Marburg.
- Saturday, May 9: 9 am-11 am – Flower Seed Planting Day 2 – Location: Meet at Paxton. We will move down to Monteith and HP Avenues.
- Friday, May 15: 9 am-12 pm – UC Serves Day – Mulching Trees Phase 1 & 2, starting at Burch Ave.
- Saturday, June 6: 9 am-11 am – Weeding Location: Meet at Marburg but the plan is to move all along the trail for maintenance.
